When you are in a rush to complete a room it’s easy to overlook details. In wall services are the most frequent deficient items that can cause some of the most rework. Missing a pipe in a wall could force you to remove large parts of the wall.

A pre-board checklist is a document that is used on a construction site to track completion of in wall services in a room before boarding or drywalling is allowed to proceed. The checklist has mechanical and electrical items that are typically found in rooms.Β 

A pre-board checklist is used by the foremen on a project – each foreman completes and signs off on their β€œsection” indicating that their work has been completed. Once all sections have been completed the area superintendent for the general contractor then acknowledges the form and completes the sign off.
