QUALITY ASSURANCE CHECKLIST – Formwork / Shuttering

As contractors, site engineers, and project managers it is important to begin your phases of work and review your checklists for important items to remember. For quality and safe work, make sure you closed every item in the checklist.

This template is an example of a checklist for shuttering works that would be useful to avoid some mistakes that may occur such as ff :

1. Inadequate bracing provided as support. The bracing provided must have sufficient load carrying capacity.
2. Support of formwork placed in unstable soil.
3. Improper stripping procedure
4. Lack of Attention to Formwork Details

Undesirable work procedures during the shuttering works will result in failures which will further result in accidents and building failures, that’s why a checklist like this will be a big help to avoid those .
