The Digital Construction Marketplace
What used to take me hours now takes me just minutes. I can plan and schedule my job again.
No longer am I searching the web for the right resource, files.construction has all of the documents I need to do my job.
Each of my teams now uses the same documents across their projects - keeps us all on the same page.
With all of the dangers, hazards and safety issues that can occur on a construction site, the best defence can often be common sense. Common sense and asking for people to look at what they are doing before actually performing the work is critical. Reminding people of this is best done through a toolbox talk. But what is a toolbox talk and how can it be used.
A toolbox talk is a document that is reviewed as part of weekly or daily meetings with the workers on site to educate them of safety trends or issues. It is intended to provide a summary of information intended to reinforce key items to the workers. A toolbox talk is given by the supervisor and signed off by workers receiving the talk.
This safety tool box talk on common sense covers a number of the key basic principles and guidelines for avoiding injuries on a jobsite.
This is a Word Document – meaning it will work in Microsoft Office and Google Docs (and any other software you use).
As a reminder – it is your requirement to ensure this document meets all local, regional, federal codes and safety requirements.
