Many large and small construction sites have hoisting involved. Whether it’s with a tower crane, a motorized winch, tower crane or derrick – hoisting involves lifting material from one area to another with a lifting device.

Hoisting requires that many precautions be taken such as a detailed inspection of the lifting device, inspection of the attachment mechanism and inspection of the area and environment surrounding the lift.

This work permit will assist you or your team with identifying the areas to inspect prior to a hoist of equipment or material and standardize it across your project or company.
