A jobsite should be a safe environment to go to work in every day. Unfortunately, whether intentionally or inadvertently workers will sometimes perform tasks that are unsafe. In those instances it’s important to educate and document the deviations from policies.

In extreme cases, safety infraction notices need to be sent out. These are documents which create a record of the infraction for future reference. These are often used, in repeat offences to justify removal from site or dismissal of an employee. They can also be used to help educate both the employee and other staff as to what not to do.

This safety infraction notice is prepared in a spreadsheet format and identifies key information that needs to be documented include location, instance, worker involved and much more.
